  • Alternate alcoholic drinks with non-alcoholic drinks ​
  • Have alcohol-free days to allow your body to recover  ​
  • Avoid mixing alcohol with other substances​
  • Choose drinks that are lower in alcohol
  • Eat a meal before you have a drink
  • Never leave your drink unattended
  • Look out for friends, if someone is intoxicated and showing signs of alcohol poisoning, get medical help.​
