Memory problems can be caused by several health problems, not just dementia. If you are worried, it is best to make an appointment with your GP who will be able to reassure you or refer you for further investigation and to rule out other health issues. If you’re worried about someone else’s memory, encourage them to see their GP and perhaps suggest to go with them.
