Loving Life is an exciting creative health project for older adults running in Chipping Barnet and Colindale Libraries throughout 2025. The project provides a range of free creative events and activities and is designed to maintain and improve health and wellbeing and provide essential social interaction.
Reading Well for dementia recommends helpful reading and digital resources for people living with dementia. There are also books for family, friends and carers. The booklist provides reliable information, advice and support as well as personal stories and age-appropriate books for children.
Memory problems can be caused by several health problems, not just dementia. If you have any concerns, it is best to book an appointment with your GP. They can provide reassurance, assess your symptoms, and refer you for further investigation if needed to rule out other health conditions. If you are worried about someone else’s memory, encourage them to see their GP and perhaps suggest to go with them.
