Mermaids provides a helpline and web chat service supporting transgender people as well as offering support for families and loved ones of trans children and young people.
A free, safe and anonymous online mental wellbeing community including live chat with the team, discussion boards, a magazine with helpful articles and a daily journal. Kooth also provides counselling support for young people aged 11 to 25 years.

To mark World Mental Health Day, Barnet Council has launched a new mental health and wellbeing strategy designed to promote the mental wellbeing of children and young people. The strategy was created following consultation and engagement with residents, youth and parent groups and using insights from national and local data.
