Time to reflect on your relationship with alcohol?
Alcohol Awareness Week (6 to 12 July) is an opportunity for everyone to reflect on their relationship with alcohol.
This year’s theme, ‘Alcohol and me’, encourages us to have open and honest conversations about how alcohol may be affecting our health, wellbeing and day-to-day lives.
Alcohol can have a bigger impact than we realise, affecting sleep, energy levels, mental health and relationships. Over time, it can also increase the risk of serious conditions such as high blood pressure, stroke and cancer.
Alcohol Awareness Week is about understanding and making informed choices, not judgement. Whether it is taking a quick online assessment, cutting back, or trying a few alcohol-free days, even small changes can make a meaningful difference.
In Barnet, we are committed to supporting healthier communities. Take a moment this week to pause, reflect and explore the advice and support available at one of our local events
