Lived Experience Workshop: Preventing gambling harms in Barnet
Have you, or has someone close to you, been affected by gambling in a way that caused stress, worry or harm?
We need your voice.
We would like to understand your experiences and what more can be done to prevent gambling harms in Barnet. Join our workshop on Monday 22 June (11.30am to 1pm) at Hendon Town Hall (The Burroughs, NW4 4BG), to help influence our approach to preventing gambling harms and make a real difference in our community.
Why participate?
- share your experiences in a safe, supportive environment
- help to shape Barnet’s approach to preventing gambling harms
- receive a £22 voucher and lunch as a ‘thank you’ for your time and input.
How do I know if this group is for me?
- you are a resident of Barnet, aged 18 or over
- you have experienced gambling-related harms, either from your own or someone else’s gambling
- you feel safe and able to talk about your experiences and listen to others
- you’re comfortable seeking support or taking a break if needed during the session.
We welcome people from all backgrounds, communities, and beliefs.
