Golders Green shows support available for residents
Golders Green Community Services Information Fair, held on Wednesday (13 May 2026), was a fantastic showcase of the wide range of support available to local residents, from adult social care and mental health support to community groceries and wellbeing services.
Staged at Golders Green Hippodrome, the event created a welcoming space for residents to connect, ask questions and discover the help available to them, while also giving organisations the opportunity to build partnerships and strengthen local networks.
The Barnet Stop Smoking team was on hand throughout the day, offering friendly, practical advice and signposting both residents and professionals to tailored support. Their work plays a vital role in helping people quit smoking, improving not only physical health but also mental wellbeing and financial resilience.
By supporting individuals on their quit journeys, the service provides a simple yet powerful way for organisations to enhance the overall support they offer.
