Sexual Health Clinics

How can sexual health clinics support me?

In Britain, sexual and reproductive health is provided mainly by sexual health clinics. You will have identified your closest sexual health clinic when you filled in the information at the front of this booklet. You can also go to: www.nhs.uk/service-search/sexual-health/find-a-sexual-health-clinic.

At the sexual health clinic you can test for all Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), access free contraception, access emergency contraception and support with pregnancy options or terminations of pregnancies. You can also access medication that prevents the transmission of HIV called PrEP or PEP. The clinic staff will inform you about these options.

All services at sexual health clinics are free of charge with a HC2 certificate, and you can ask for transport from your hotel’s reception.
