Annual Director of Public Health Report 2025
This year’s Annual Director of Public Health Report, which focuses on tackling substance misuse in Barnet, is now available.
Dr Janet Djomba, Barnet Council's Director of Public Health, said: “The report highlights the scale of the issue, the evolving nature of drug and alcohol use, and the significant progress made through strong local partnerships.
“Barnet’s Combatting Drugs Partnership has brought together a wide range of organisations – from health and social care to education, community safety, criminal justice, and the voluntary sector – to deliver co-ordinated action.
“Together, we have expanded access to treatment, improved prevention efforts, and strengthened support for those most at risk. This report showcases the impact of that work and outlines clear recommendations for the future.”
